About Staff Selection Commission Recruitment:

SSC {Staff Selection Commission} is an Organization under the Government of India and also SSC recruits the staff for various posts in various ministries and certain departments of Government of India.

SSC JE means Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer. I SSC Recruits thousands of vacancies  Every year in Government departments. Govt.

This commission is attached to the Department of Personnel and Training. On 4 November 1975 Government of India constituted  Subordinate  Service Commission and also On 26th September 1977, this Subordinate Service Commission is renamed as Staff Selection Commission.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Junior Engineer (JE) Exam for recruiting to various posts like:

  • Central Water Commission
  • Central Public Works Department
  • Military Engineering Services and also
  • Department of Posts

If the candidate wants to join in SSC JE must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01-08-2015. In this Recruitment, There are relaxations for various such as Defence, SC/ST, etc.

SSC JE Qualification:

Candidates have to complete diploma or Graduation in their respective departments

SSC JE Age Limit

The age requirements for the candidates to apply are between 18 to 32 years

SSC JE Salary:

The in-hand salary of SSC JE as per the new commission will be Rs. 44,000 per month including all the other allowances which are: Dearness Allowance (DA) Medical Allowance. House Rent Allowance.

Scheme of Exam:

SSC JE 2019 conducts the exam in two phases.

  • Paper 1 – 200 marks and
  • Paper 2  – 300 marks.

SSC JE Exam:

Paper I Pattern

  • The paper is of objective type multiple choice questions. and also the Duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Paper II Pattern

  • The paper is of descriptive/writing paper. and also The exam is of 300 marks

SSC JE Exam Pattern:

  • Paper 1 Consists of 200 Marks and this test is an MCQ type
